We Love Flowers
As a grad student in England, our founder unearthed her love of all things botanic while moonlighting, cleaning flowers at dawn to help pay the rent. Stripping, cutting, and bundling blooms into market bunches and hand tied bouquets, she found her fine arts career re-directed by the romance and peace of working with flowers. That presence informs everything we do.
Today, our 2 locations are staffed by artists who use flowers and your vision as their raw material.
Long before most people are up,
we’re strolling the flower market, selecting the pick of the season. We talk to the vendors and collect what’s fresh and unusual. We love it when wild pickers bring their oversized wares to our shop: flowering branches, hardy foliage and knotted roots hauled in on the back of trucks.
We Love the Possibilities
Flowers are wondrous raw material. Familiar, exotic, symmetrical or contorted. Roses still give us chills. But so does a twisted, wild bramble. Together...well, don’t get us started!
We listen to you to interpret your objective; what excites you, what scale you're seeking, feeling you'd like to create, what colours you crave. You are integral to the process.
The flowers best suited to the job are the ones you love. We don't play favourites. In our books orchids aren't more special than field anemones. And grand arrangements aren't more grand than a single spectacular bloom.
We Love Giving Them to You
We get to give flowers to people every day. To be a part of your intimate moments and your celebrations. And to share in the positive effects of nature while transforming a banquet hall into a garden, improvising a chuppa on a beach, creating a green paradise on a balcony, or simply marveling at the pleasure a flower brings.
